We spend the entire week dragging ourselves, from meetings to online classes or spending weekends running errands, it’s just a never-ending to-do list. When do we have the “me” time?

So, why not dedicate Sundays for yourself to rejuvenate, heal and be ready to tackle the new week. Here are a few rituals you can add to your own self-care Sunday routine, have a look:

1. Listen to a Podcast

Turning to be a favourite of many, just sitting and listening to podcasts is so relaxing for the mind. When you really listen, you won’t allow yourself to be distracted which is surprisingly enough more calming than one thought it would be.

2. Cook Breakfast

A good, loving and nutritional breakfast is basically starting the day on a good note by making your tummy happy. Have food you truly enjoy, let it linger and overtake your senses. From the process of cooking to consuming, it’s a food experience that is good for the soul.

3. Light a candle

Finish your week with a dose of peace by lighting a calming candle. Setting that perfect ambiance for an evening of binge watching your favourite Netflix show, the soothing scent of candle is a self-care essential.

4. Write in a Journal

One of the therapeutic ways of releasing how you feel, pen down all your thoughts in a journal to get a calm in that storm which lies inside you. You don’t need to have a direction, just write down all your feelings and thoughts, aimlessly.
