A heart-breaking moment in the Indian Sporting history and indeed a tearful moment for cricket fans. The man with no haters, Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement from International Cricket through his social media post at 7.29 PM on Saturday, 15 August.
Mahi, the Indian cricketer whom the nation loved with all hearts, shared a heartwarming video on his social media account showing his journey in the Indian Cricket along with the legendary song ‘Main Pal Do Pal Ka Saathi Hoon’, which has has left the netizens with with wet eyes, realising they won’t be able to see Captain Cool in the International cricket again.

Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired” which has received over two lac comments in just an hour with people calling him “Legend”, asking him to stay in the team for a few more years and pouring their love on Captain cool from all across the globe.

Joining Dhoni’s decision, Suresh Raina also announced his retirement from the cricket field and took to his social media account, sharing a picture with Dhoni and other cricketers and wrote, “It was nothing but lovely playing with you, @mahi7781 . With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind!”.
