Bastian Riviera marks a strategic new phase in the growth of the Bastian Hospitality Group, expanding its reputation beyond dining into a full lifestyle and hospitality offering. Set along the Morjim backwaters and opening in December 2025, the upcoming 1.5-acre property has been designed as a hybrid space that brings together accommodation, dining, wellness, and cultural programming under one unified vision.
At the core of the property is a distinctive pyramid-inspired structure that houses the main dining room and bar. The layout extends into cabanas built on private decks above water features, circular sunbeds, landscaped courtyards, and a second outdoor bar. The design language carries forward the group’s warm, coastal identity while introducing a stronger architectural signature intended to differentiate Bastian Riviera within Goa’s competitive luxury market.
The culinary approach builds on Bastian’s established strengths in premium global cuisine with a high-focus seafood programme and Goa-centred additions. The experience is supported by a curated international music calendar that positions the property as a cultural hub. Global artists Jimmy Jules and Bedouin are scheduled to play in December. These elements are part of a deliberate effort to position Bastian Riviera as a hospitality destination that offers both high-quality dining and a sophisticated nightlife experience.
With phase one accommodations already in place and a spa planned next, Bastian Riviera represents the brand’s most ambitious investment in Goa to date. It is intended to anchor the group’s presence in the state while creating a scalable blueprint for future expansions across leisure-led markets. The property’s mix of architecture, food, entertainment, and hospitality signals a growth from Bastian as a restaurant brand to Bastian as a lifestyle ecosystem.
