The popular Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to voice the character of Mufasa in the Hindi dubbed version of Disney’s upcoming most anticipated film titled The Lion King. Any guesses of who will be voicing the character of Mufasa’s son Simba in the film? It’s none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s own elder son, Aryan Khan. Yes, it’s official that Shah Rukh Khan will lend his voice to Mufasa character, the King of the Pride Lands and Simba’s father while Aryan Khan will lend his voice to Mufasa’s son and the movie’s lead character Simba in an upcoming Hindi remake of the drama-adventure film, The Lion King. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan excitedly took to his twitter handle to publically announce the news and express his excitement saying, ‘Glad to be a part of this journey… a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around it’s even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing’.

Directed and produced by Jon Favreau, The Lion King will mark the debut of Aryan Khan in the film industry. The film is scheduled to release this year on July 19 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
