Today the filmmakers of ‘Sadak 2’ have dropped the trailer of the much awaited sequel of 1991 movie ‘Sadak’ which brings the starcast of Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt on-screen.
The three minute long trailer shows the journey of a man, played by Sanjay Dutt, who has lost his beloved (Pooja Bhatt) and is now running a travel and tour company. Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy come into his life like a breath of fresh air and Dutt gets attached to them on a road trip to Kailash.
As he gets to discover some self-claimed corrupt guru is after Alia, Dutt takes the matter in his hands to save her at all cost.
The trailer looks picturesque as Himalaya unleashes its beauty on the audience with the fight sequences of Sanjay bringing out the fierce side of the actor.
‘Sadak 2’ is set for a digital release via Disney+Hotstar on 28 August and marks the return of director Mahesh Bhatt after two decades.

The trailer of ‘Sadak 2’ was set to release on Tuesday but was put on hold after the news of Dutt being diagnosed with lung cancer broke in the media.
The actor was earlier complaining of breathlessness and was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, post which he also took to his social media handle to share the news that he is COVID-19 negative and got discharged from the hospital on Monday.
Later, the news about Dutt suffering from cancer came out, though nothing official was stated by Sanjay Dutt.
However, Sanjay shared a post on his social media account announcing that he will be taking a short break from work for medical treatment and asked his family and well-wishers to stay calm.

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who himself is a cancer survivor, sent his well wishes to Sanjay Dutt and prayed for his speedy recovery by writing, “You are, have and always will be a fighter @duttsanjay. I know the pain it causes but I also know you are strong and will see this tough phase through. My prayers and best wishes for your speedy recovery.” on his social media account.
