2. Women’s Singles – Bianca Andreescu

Bianca Andreescu snatched Serena William’s dream of winning her 24th major singles championship, by defeating Williams in straight sets, 6-3 and 7-5 in the US Open women’s singles final.

The 19 year-old won her first Grand Slam, becoming the first Canadian and woman to win a trophy at the Flushing Meadows in her tournament debut in the Open era.

3. Men’s Doubles – Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Fara

Colombian partners Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah, seized the US Open men’s doubles title. Being the second consecutive Grand Slam, the Wimbledon champions saw off Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos 6-4, 7-5 in the court of Arthur Ashe Stadium, USA.

4. Women’s Doubles – Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka

Belgium’s Elise Mertens and Belarus’s Aryna Sabalenka won the US Open women’s doubles title after outlasting Belarus’s Victoria Azarenka and Australia’s Ash Barty 7-5, 7-5 at Arthur Ashe Stadium, making this the duo’s first Grand Slam title as a team.

5. Mixed Doubles – Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Jamie Murray

Britain’s Jamie Murray won US Open title for the fourth successive year in straight sets alongside mixed doubles partner, America’s Bethanie Mattek-Sands. The pair defended their title with a 6-2, 6-3 win over top seeds Taiwan’s Chan Hao-ching and New Zealand’s Michael Venus.
