PM Modi was again seen in his ‘Jadu ki Jhappi’ mood, but this time he not only encouraged the person he hugged but made the whole nation teary with his genuine move. PM Modi, known as a compulsive hugger, was clicked outside the office of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) post Chandrayyan-2 lander Vikram lost communications, hugging ISRO Chief K Sivan, consoling and appreciating him for his efforts.

PM’s move to reach out to heartbroken ISRO chief melted the hearts of netizens and was appreciated by many celebrities, who came out to extend their support to ISRO scientists.

Chandrayyan 2, a project that was indigenously prepared by ISRO grabbing the attention of the world with its aim to reach the unrequited zone of the moon and check the abundance of lunar water, set its final journey on 22 July from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sri Harikota, Andhra Pradesh, making India the fourth nation to aim for soft landing on the surface of the moon after the USA, USSR and China.

The day when Vikram was on its journey to touch the surface of the moon, PM Modi reached ISRO office to witness it. Along with it, live streaming was going on for the world to witness the final steps of the mission.

Later PM encouraged the scientists through his motivational speech as Vikram lander deviated from its path and lost the communication just 2.1 km away from the lunar surface. Writing, “ As important as the final result is the journey and the effort.

Our effort and journey to the moon was worth it.

There will be a new dawn and a brighter tomorrow soon!”, PM conveyed the message of the entire country of how proud the nation is with the ISRO scientists and this is not the end.

Along with the entire nation, eminent leaders from across the globe have extended their support to Chandrayaan 2 mission and praised the hard work and courage of the scientists.

With the new updates that scientists are trying to relink the lander, India is all set to create history and we are proud of all the brilliant minds behind it.
