Google map, a web mapping service developed by Google, has been continuously rolling out new updates for its users, since the beginning of this year. Showing satellite images, Aerial photography, Street maps and Real time traffic, Google Map has really made life easier for the people.
Google achieved another milestone by joining the Indian Government’s ‘Loo Review’ campaign, adding 45,000 community and public toilets in Google Map app. These toilets are spread over 1,700 cities in India. Users can also rate and review the public washrooms through this new feature.
In addition to that Google will also be providing the information about nearby bike sharing stations. With ITO World, a transit data company, it will let the users know about the availability of bikes and the nearby parking slots. The giant search engine company has been testing this feature in the past year, in New York. Now it will be available in 24 countries across the globe, including Barcelona, London, Berlin, Dublin and more. However, this feature is not available in India yet.
