The 2020 Italian Grand Prix winner Pierre Gasly has confirmed his stay with his team of Alpha Tauri, the Red Bull owned Formula One team for the upcoming racing season.
The 24-year-old French driver started his journey in the F1 from Malaysian Grand Prix of 2017 with Toro Rosso, later renamed as Alpha Tauri. Pierre grabbed his first victory at Monza, Italy on 6 September 2020.
The signing of Gasly for another season has also put an end to all the speculations of him joining Max Verstappen in the Red Bull team.
Franz Tost, Team Principal, while delivering the news to the world stated: “He is mentally very strong, he is always motivated and when he sets a goal he gives it his all to achieve it. I’m looking forward to extending this cooperation and having a successful 2021 season together.”, showing his excitement over the stay of Pierre.
