After a lot of teasing, OnePlus finally took the lid off and announced about the OnePlus Concept One at the CES 2020.
One Plus is coming out with the first ever concept phone, the OnePlus Concept One. This smartphone will have a premium design, but what makes it truly interesting is the fact that it will feature an electrochromic glass panel.
Collaborating with McLaren, the inspiration behind this smartphone came from McLarenâs 720S Spider sports car. The car features an electrochromic glass panel and the same will be used in the OnePlus Concept One. It can turn transparent or opaque in 0.7 seconds to reveal or hide the rear cameras.
For the camera, the electrochromic glass will double up due to the organic particles and one can use the polarising filter when shooting under very harsh light. Also, the camera will switch to pro mode where you can use lower ISO and longer shutter. Introducing Alternate ND, a filter that reduces bright spots with one tap, enabling you to capture that perfect shot.

In terms of the design, the smartphone will come in in McLarenâs signature Papaya Orange shade. The special glass only covers the camera section while the rest is covered in leather. The phoneâs frame is made out of an aluminium alloy thatâll be treated with a new vapour deposition process to give the phone a thin gold finishing.
