The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) hasn’t given up on their dream to land on the Moon.
The ISRO chairman, K Sivan sent a letter to students at a panchayat union school in Tamil Nadu where he has specified that he will try to land on the Moon, once more.
On their official Instagram account, the space agency posted a picture of Chandrayaan 2 and wrote, “Isro will try again to land on Moon, its chief Sivan says in his reply to TN school children who wrote letters to him. #chandrayaan2🚀 #ISROmissions #ISRO Source: TOI”.
When the school children saw the ISRO chairman cry on the failure of the Vikram lander’s landing on the South Pole of the Moon, the students wrote letters to K Sivan to make him feel better. On receiving the letters, he wrote back to them specifying about ISRO will be giving another shot to land on the Moon.
We hope that this time India becomes the first country to successfully land on the Moon’s South Pole!
