Indian Cricket team won the T20 series against West Indies by 3-0, yesterday, and became the champions. The credit for the win in the third match goes to the young Indian wicketkeeper, Rishabh Pant. He scored 65 runs off 42 balls, remaining not out at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
India was in a tough spot after losing Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul early during the 147 chase. But, Pant was not bothered by this situation. When Rishabh came out to bat, India was at a low score but he scored a partnership of 106 runs with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Pant’s score of 65 has become the highest individual score, scored by any Indian in T20I Cricket. He broke Dhoni’s record of 56 runs against England. The 21-year-old cricketer has added another feather to his cap.
