All of us have dreams that we strive towards with the hope of achieving them and turning them into a reality. One of the most common dreams, the one that makes you feel proud of yourself, is buying your own home and decorating it.
Giving us the perfect Monday Motivation, Bollywood star Taapsee Pannu shared an anecdote about shifting to her new house in Mumbai. She penned down a heartfelt note and uploaded it with a picture of herself posing in front of her favourite blue door.
In the post she shared on Instagram, Taapsee reminisced about how she moved from her first rented house in Mumbai to her own apartment after completing the shoot of ‘Manmarziyaan’. In the city of dreams, dreams do come true!
Beginning a new chapter in her life in her new house, the star did have her share of minimal issues that were sorted out by her sister and mother. Going through a seamless transition, only after her family moved in with her, she could call her house a home. Taapsee wanted two things in her own home, a blue door and a logo instead of a name plate, keeping the ambition flying!
For Taapsee, this apartment of hers was a defining moment as she always wanted her own place and seeing it all come together made her believe that every time she sets an ambitious goal, it is definitely possible to achieve it!

This is the day I had my apartment in Mumbai ready, with all interior work done. It was strange that when I left for the shoot of Manmarziyaan I left from the old apartment I had taken on rent when I first moved to Mumbai n by the time I finished shooting the film n came back I entered the new apartment. Like a new chapter began just like that. It was a very seamless transition for me but it went through its share of teething issues which were all sorted by my sister n mom before I entered home. Made me realise no matter how much effort you put in, the house stays a house until it’s lived in with your family who then make it ‘Home’. That’s the blue door that I wanted for my home n keeping the ambition flying high I always wanted a logo instead of a name plate outside my house. Seeing it all come together for the first time was definitely a defining moment in a girl’s life who wanted to create her own space which she can look at everytime she sets an ambitious goal and feel ‘it’s possible’
