Sunday came in with bad news for FC Barcelona, as their third player from the club has tested positive for coronavirus.
New recruit, Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic who joined from Italian champions Juventus just a few months has fallen prey to COVID-19. Fortunately, asymptomatic, the club announced this news on Twitter and added that the player will travel to Barcelona in 15 days. Right now, Pjanic is in self-isolation at home and is feeling well.
The club will start their season training from 31 August under FC Barca’s new coach Ronald Koeman with the 2020-21 La Liga campaign due to begin September 12. Hope to see Miralem Pjanic back on the field who joined the club in June in a swap deal with Brazil international Arthur.
