Giving a tough competition to OnePlus, Xiaomi has launched its Mi TV Horizon edition today in India through a virtual event.
The mid range TV is packed with a Cortex A53 processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It supports three HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting speakers. It has 20W in-built speakers with DTS-HD technology and also sports a Quick Wake feature to turn the TV on when in standby mode.
Staying up with the latest technology, Mi TV has a built-in Chromecast, Google Assistant, and Google Data Saver for a premium user experience.
The Mi TV Horizon will be available in two screen sizes. The 32–inch variant comes with a price tag of INR 13,499 and the 43-inch variant will cost INR 22,999. The 43 inch variant has thin bezels surrounding the LED display while it comes with Xiaomi’s Android TV 9-based PatchWall platform, supporting over 5,000 apps.
The 32-inch variant will go on sale from 11 September on Flipkart and the official website of Xiaomi whereas the 43-inch variant will be available from 15 September on Amazon.
