Mandy Moore got her own Hollywood Walk Of Fame star and the actress/singer is seen happy and content ever since. The star is the 2,658th since the completion of the Walk of Fame in 1961.
On the day of her big honour, she was supported by her NBC drama This Is Us creator, Dan Fogelman, and co-stars Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson and Shane West, who played her love interest in the award-winning 2002 film A Walk To Remember.
Amanda Leigh Moore was born on April 10, 1984, in Nashua, New Hampshire, and was moved to Orlando, Florida shortly after that. Little Moore used to sing the national anthem at several sporting events and was popularly known as the ‘national anthem girl’. Her journey from there to being the most sort after actress and singer is unbelievable even for her.
The 34-year old said, ‘It is a tremendous honor to join the ranks of talents whose stars and legacy line Hollywood Boulevard.’ Moore added,‘As a little girl from Orlando, Fla., who got her start singing the National Anthem, I’m not sure I ever remember having dreams this big. I never thought something like this would actually come to life, but yet here we are and it’s deeply humbling and weird.’
Mandy received a Golden Globe nomination in 2016 for her role in This Is Us. She was also the voice of Rapunzel in the animated musical adventure Tangled in 2010 and sang I See The Light with Zachary Levi, which received an Oscar nomination for best original song.
