Mahesh Bhatt is back as a director for his upcoming film, Sadak 2. The movie will star, Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The first schedule for this movie has been wrapped up. Now for the second schedule, the team will head to Ooty, where Alia Bhatt will play a major role.
The first schedule was shot in the third week of May, at a suburban studio in Mumbai. In this schedule, which lasted only for a few days, focused mainly on Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt, who have been retained from the original. Alia was part of the first two days of this schedule too.

In Sadak 2, Alia plays the role of Sanjay and Pooja’s daughter, and will be flying to Ooty, along with Aditya on 16 July, to kick start the shooting from the next day.
Alia shared the post of the clap board from the first day of the shoot on her social media, saying, ‘Today is Day 1 of Sadak 2. And that’s my father, now also my director, holding the clap. I begin shoot in a few days and honestly, I’m petrified. I feel like a tiny mouse trying to climb a beautiful, immense, emotional mountain. I hope I make it to the top and if I fall I hope I’m able to get up again. It’s a tough climb but from everything I’ve seen and everything I’ve heard, I know every single step and misstep will be worth it! Aditya, who was busy shooting for Malang, recently completed his look test for Sadak 2 at Vishesh Films office. For a few weeks, it will be a run-on schedule, primarily about Alia and Aditya’s love story in the movie.
