Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and now, Twitter, entering the game late but the micro blogging platform has rolled its own version of stories called ‘Fleets’.
Available in Android and iOS, Fleets will let users upload stories that will disappear after 24 hours. The social media platform tweeted about this and wrote that this feature is there to see posts without getting likes, retweets or replies to the stories.
After Italy and Brazil, India is the third country to have Fleets rolled out in the country. As soon as this update was announced, the Fleets hashtag has become the top trending one on Twitter, a win-win situation for the microblogging platform.
For one to view Fleets, you can head to your profile picture on Twitter and tap on it to create Fleets, and then add text, pictures or videos. This is how it will look, see:
