Ahead of the launch of Jaguar I Pace in India, the British automobile manufacturer has proudly announced that its Pace family is being electrified.
The battery electric crossover vehicle, Jaguar I Pace contains 432 pouch cells that can be charged from zero to eighty percent in 85 minutes using 50 kW DC charging. In order to stay on the top of the game and deliver the same performance as other models of the company, Jaguar has fitted the EV with two motors powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery that can help in sprinting the car from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
Moreover, the original Jaguar E Pace and F Pace models, which were initially powered by internal combustion only, have also incorporated Plug-In Hybrid technology to use petrol engines with electric motors in order to deliver optimum performance and efficiency.
