The United States Presidential election is scheduled for 3 November and Google is helping voters access authoritative information about the election by bringing transparency around election, and connecting people to the democratic process.
Going ahead with the same objective, Google Search has been equipped with two new features which give the detailed information about ‘how to register’ and ‘how to vote’.
Irrespective of your location in the US, if you search for ‘how to register to vote’ you’ll find information about voter registration in your state which includes deadlines, registration options, and an easy way to check the status of your registration.
Similarly, if you search for ‘how to vote’, you’ll find details about how to cast a vote in your state along with voting deadlines and guidance for different means of voting.
In order to deliver authentic information the company is closely working with non-partisan, third-party data partners, which aggregates official data directly from state election administrators to help the voters in the election process.
No matter where you live in the US, find answers for “how to register to vote” and “how to vote” directly from your state and county election administrators in Search. Read more about our election efforts → https://t.co/ATfh3OEse9 pic.twitter.com/zZkUeRK1Wx
