The battle royale game Fortnite is in an ongoing battle with iOS post its removal from the platform.
But even after making a mockery of the 1984 advertisement of Apple, Fortnite is not missing out on any opportunity to troll the Californian company. As Fortnite is coming with new updates, it released a statement calling out on all the gamers of the world to play #FreeFortnite Cup on this Sunday, 23 August.
According to the company’s statement, iOS users will be left behind on Chapter 2 season 3 while the other community will enter Chapter 2 season 4. The new season will be rolling out on 27 August.
To cheer up the Fortnite Community, the company also stated: “If you’re left behind on iOS after the Chapter 2 – Season 4 launch, the party continues on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, GeForce Now, and through both the Epic Games App at epicgames.com and the Samsung Galaxy Store.” and urged its loyal followers to join them in the fight against Apple along with the tournament details.
All of your friends. Fabulous prizes. And one bad apple. We’re droppin the #FreeFortnite Cup on August 23.
