For the first time in ‘Teen Choice’ history, a two-hour live event hosted by ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Lucy Hale and YouTuber David Dobrik was broadcasted from Hermosa Beach on 11 August, 2019. The Fox’s Teen Choice Awards 2019 featured the hottest stars in TV, Music, Film and Social Media. In the event, while the stars gave their sizzling performance on hit dance numbers, on the other hand, the winners were awarded for brilliant performance in the films, music and TV on the basis of votes casted by the audience online.
Taylor Swift was awarded the first ever Icon Award at the event and she took the opportunity to honor Alex Morgan, the co-captain of the World-Cup-winning U.S. Women’s National soccer team. Among others, Robert Downey Jr was awarded the ‘Choice Action Movie Actor’ and was handed the trophy by a bunch of teenagers. Take a look:
