It’s the end of the week and so the flashback trend is back into the game on social media platform with celebrities sharing pictures and notes about some of their precious moment.
Riding high on nostalgia and filled with gratitude, Priyanka Chopra shared her one of the most melodious and iconic songs ‘Tinka Tinka’ from the movie ‘Karam’ which had garnered a huge appreciation from all her fans.
The song was originally sung by singer Alisha Chinai but upon its release, many of Priyanka’s fans confused it to be her own voice as Alisha perfectly complimented her tone and put her heart out in nailing it.
Along with thanking the ‘Made In India’ singer, Priyanka also explained her non-Bollywood fans the concept of playback singing and how Indian Music Industry works behind the making of a film.
Along with the song clip, she wrote, “For those who might not know, Hindi films use playback singers for most actors and I’ve had the fortune to have some amazing singers lend their voice to my films over the years. But when this song was released, most thought it was me…But in fact it was the voice of one of my favorite singers @alishachinaiofficial… she complimented my tone so well. Thank you Alisha!!”.
