In an exclusive Charity Fashion Show on 18th October 2018, Ambassadors walked the ramp in creations by the top designers like Rohit Bal, Shantanu & Nikhil, Gaurav Gupta, Poonam Bhagat, Abraham & Thakore, Rahul Mishra, Namrata Joshipura, among many others. The Earth Foundation hosted the much acclaimed and appreciated charity event with the fashion show as the highlight. Heads of mission and their spouses from several countries walked the ramp wearing ensembles contributed by leading Indian designers
This one of a kind event was hosted by the Brazilian Ambassador at his residence in support of the girl child, with FDCI President Sunil Sethi as the advisor and Poonam Bhagat as coordinator. The show was followed by dinner and drinks courtesy Andaz Hotel Delhi.
Thirty-five members of the diplomatic community, all Ambassadors from the countries all over the world walked the ramp for 27 designers to uproarious applause from the audience. The lavish dinner was held as a fitting finale to the beautiful show for a beautiful cause.

The Host of Rays of Hope 2018, Brazil Ambassador to India H.E. Tovar da Silva Nunes said says, “Brazil too faces the challenge of underprivileged children like in India, therefore we have all the more reason to be proud to be associated with this initiative by Earth Foundation for the benefit of the underprivileged girl child. We are also delighted to see our colleagues, the ambassadors, their spouses and families, joining in this effort to ensure that we together make a difference and raise awareness among people to donate, be present and participate so that the girl child here in India and elsewhere gets the necessary support and right education.
The show was concluded with a vote of thanks given by the President of Earth Foundation, Geeti Bhagat who was joined on stage by FDCI President, Sunil Sethi along with all the designers and ambassadors. She then presented the donated items for auction which included a football signed by famous Brazilian retired professional footballer Pele and the sculpture “Flow Dreaming”, by multidisciplinary artist Anu Malhotra.
