Former cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is all set to start a new inning of his life as BCCI President. Dada filled his nomination in Mumbai on Monday and was unanimously elected for the presidentship.
Overwhelmed with the joy, Bengal Tiger shared an image on his social media handle with his new team, who are all set to take the BCCI office. In the picture, Dada is seen with former BCCI Chief, Anurag Thakur, new Secretary of BCCI Jay Shah, and newly elected Treasurer Arun Dhamal. Jayesh George who will take the office of Joint Secretary and Mahim Verma, Vice President is also there.

Soon the news broke out on the internet and greetings for the start of a new tenure flooded the social media.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also wished Ganguly for taking up the post of BCCI President. She wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to @SGanguly99 for being unanimously elected @BCCI President. Wish you all the best for your term. You have made India and #Bangla proud. We were proud of your tenure as CAB President. Looking forward to a great new innings.”

Ganguly will be taking the office of BCCI President from 23 October.
