One of Salman’s cult-hit characters is undoubtedly Chulbul Pandey, a bent cop with a big heart, who was introduced to his fans back in 2010 by director Abhinav Kashyap. Post its popularity and humongous fan-base, the second instalment followed shortly in the year 2012 by Arbaaz Khan and went on to become a box-office hit, as well.
And now finally, after the wrap of his big film, Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, Salman Khan is all set to start the shoot of Dabangg 3 from 1st of April in Indore. Along with his brother Arbaaz Khan, the two landed in the city on 31st March.
Sallu Bhai took to Instagram and Twitter to announce with a video clip saying, ‘Arbaaz Khan and I have just landed in Indore where we were both born and we are going to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar to shoot for Dabangg where our grandfather was posted when he was in the police force.’
The other prime characters include, Sonakshi Sinha, who made a smashing debut with Dabangg and continued to play the role of Rajjo, Chulbul’s wife in Dabangg 2 as well. Kannada superstar Sudeep has been roped in to play the antagonist.
Talking about the story line, the 53-year-old megastar said, ‘The story starts with Dabangg 3 in the present and then it goes back to the past, and then comes back to the present day again. It will have a prequel portion, but only as a flashback.’
Directed by choreographer/filmmaker Prabhudeva and produced by brother Arbaaz Khan, Dabangg 3 will mostly be released by December of this year.
