On Sunday, India’s ace badminton player PV Sindhu turned 25 and celebrated her quarantine birthday with family at home.
From being Rio Olympics silver medalist to becoming the first Indian player to win the 2018 BWF World Tour and the 2019 BWF World Championships, PV Sindhu has claimed her position in the badminton court since 2013. Making India proud at every tournament, Sindhu currently holds world number five position in the women’s singles.
One day after her birthday, PV Sindhu shared pictures of how she spent her special day along with a sweet note. The global sports icon thanked everyone for the birthday wishes that made her day so special. She was grateful for the love and support that she receives everyday, making her life not so ordinary.
In a series of pictures on the gram, PV Sindhu wore different floral maxi dresses that looked beautiful on her. She gave a glimpse of her birthday décor that was themed as blue and white, included balloons, handmade fan, lanterns, birthday banner and handcrafted rainbow. With a display of many fondant cakes, the smile from Sindhu’s face brightened the whole room. Looks like she ended her birthday with a barbeque party that she seems to be doing by herself.
