After the success of true-event based films such as Satyamev Jayate, Romeo Akbar Walter and Parmanu, John Abraham is back with yet another true story titled, Batla House. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film is inspired by the Operation Batla House that took place in 2008, starring John Abraham as Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, a police officer. Through this film, John Abraham promises to unfold the truth behind 2008 Delhi terrorist encounter.
The posters and the teaser of the film have been released by the filmmakers and John Abraham took to his Instagram handle to announce his movie with the fans. The latest poster of the film creates eagerness about John’s look as a cop. He captions it as, ‘When the nation you serve doubts your decision, you start questioning yourself. Yesterday, the teaser of the film was unveiled and John Abraham dropped the 26 seconds glimpse on his Instagram handle saying, ‘Endless protests across the nation and endless accusations later, the search for the truth still continues. #BatlaHouse #BatlaHouseTrailerOn10thJuly’.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-series and Emmay Entertainment, the film is scheduled to hit the cinemas this Independence Day, while the trailer will be out tomorrow.
