Australian women for the fifth time lifted the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy after defeating India at Melbourne Cricket Stadium on the special occasion of Women’s Day.
In the final match, Australia after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored an overall run of 184 with four wickets down. Chasing for 185 runs, India had a very poor beginning, where the powerpack player Shafali Verma just hit two runs. With an immensely poor batting line, Indian team were dismissed at just 99 runs in 19.1 overs.
