After the wait of two years, Netflix Original sci-fi series ‘Altered Carbon’ is coming on the screen with its second part and this time it is even darker and full of extra-terrestrial drama.
With a cliffhanger in the concluding episode of Season 1 of the series, Netflix has piqued the interest of its audience who were eagerly waiting for the sequel and suddenly, the streaming giant dropped an over two-minute trailer of the same.
Taking the same story of the future where the memories can be stacked into chips and can be put in different bodies or sleeves, MCU famed Anthony Mackie is reviving the role of Takeshi Kovacs. With an enhanced body of extra healing powers and several new skills, Takeshi is once again set to find his long-lost love Quell and the trailer shows them finally meeting each other in a fight scene. Well, apart from action sequels, blood baths and conspiracies surrounding Kovacs, he also comes face to face with his original body played by Will Yun Lee and with that scene Netflix has instantly rekindled our curiosity.
The futuristic thriller drama based on the 2002 cyberpunk novel of Richard K Morgan will start streaming online from 27 February and we are pretty exhilarated to hear that.
