It was a tough night for the Indian Football team in their joint qualifier for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 and FIFA World Cup 2022, against neighbouring country Bangladesh.
The Blue Tigers were totally pumped up before the game and performed well throughout the match but could not bring three points to the country which they were aiming from before.
Skipper Saad Uddin of Bangladesh brought one point to his team in the very first half of the match and put huge pressure on the Indian team.
41' Bangladesh open the scoring against the run of play.

While most of the time the ball was in Indian possession, the Blue Team, even after putting extraordinary effort, could not break through the safe play of opposing country. Even the charm of Talismanic player Sunil Chhetri did not work well. It was until the last two minutes of the match when Indian Centre-back Adil Khan shot a header against Bangladesh bringing the score to 1-1 picking a single point for the team. This is the second match of team India that ended in a draw.
