33&BREW, India’s first vinyl microbrewery, opens its doors at Prestige Techno Star, Brookfield, bringing together the best of craft beer, analogue sound, contemporary design, and an expansive food program. Founded by the creators of Record Room, now part of Optimistic Capital, this flagship concept builds on the legacy of India’s first craft beer and vinyl bar—now reimagined at a larger scale, with its own brewery and an expansive global food program.
With an ever-changing tap list, a growing vinyl archive, and a design aesthetic inspired by the motion of sound, 33&BREW is a space where everything moves—beer, music, and people. The name draws its inspiration from 33 RPM, the classic speed at which vinyl records spin— an ode to timeless analog music culture.
The Craft Beer | The Art of Brew
At its core lies a dynamic craft beer program led by Master Brewer Stephen Nelsen, a third-generation brewer with over three decades of international brewing experience. Known for balancing traditional techniques with modern flavours, Stephen draws on a rich family heritage in beer-making and serves as a judge at international craft beer competitions around the world. The rotating tap list features small-batch brews—from crisp session ales and citrusy IPAs to bold, full-bodied seasonal pours—crafted for both enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Reviving the joy of analogue sound, 33&BREW houses an eclectic vinyl archive of over 200 records spanning rock, funk, soul, hip-hop, and global genres. Guests can browse, listen, or unwind to curated sessions that celebrate timeless music culture—inviting everyone to slow down, connect, and enjoy sound in its purest form.
The Food | Global Flavours, Local Soul
Curated by Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, the menu blends global influences with comforting Indian flavours. Small plates take the lead with dishes like Spicy Mushroom Mille-Feuille, Corn Kataifi Pies, Gambas al Ajillo, and Pulled Chicken Carnitas. The Progressive Indian Entrées reimagine homegrown classics such as Goan Prawn Arancini, Truffled Gucchi Yakhni Rolls, and Hokkaido Bun Keema, alongside vegetarian highlights like Roast Jackfruit Fondue and Red Bean & Chickpea Pâté.
From wood-fired Mediterranean flatbreads to handmade pastas, risottos, and grills, each dish balances familiarity with finesse. The journey ends on a sweet note with La Dolce Vita desserts with crowd favourites like the Basque Cheesecake, Rose Kunafe Tarts, and Tiramisù à la Naples.
The Cocktails | Crafted with Character
The cocktail menu draws from the nostalgia of vinyl’s golden age, reinterpreted with modern mixology. Signature cocktails like the Beerhead Sour, with bourbon, in-house hops, honey, lime, and vegan foamer, draw inspiration from the bright, aromatic notes of beer hops, bridging the worlds of brewing and mixology. The 4 AM Cut!, with reposado tequila, coriander, red chillies, and crisp lager, layers agave’s earthy depth with the familiar bite of beer. The Echo Chamber combines bourbon, hazelnut, espresso, and stout crème for a deep, soulful finish, while The Needle Scratch contrasts vodka, Chardonnay, yuzu, and jalapeño — sharp, bright, and unexpectedly smooth.
Design | An Ode to Analog
Designed by Studio Taan, 33&BREW merges industrial craft with retro warmth—exposed brick, brass accents, brew tanks, and turntables in perfect harmony. Deep reds, mahogany, and matte black echo the tone of aged vinyl, while flexible seating encourages both lively gatherings and intimate listening sessions. 33&BREW isn’t just a brewery, it’s a cultural experience that celebrates the timeless connection between music, taste, and community. From the crackle of vinyl to the pour of a perfect pint, it invites Bengaluru to slow down, savour the moment, and rediscover the joy of analogue living.
