Anupam Kher is a versatile performer and the actor in his over three-decade-old film career has shown the world his acting skills. Since his debut, the actor has played many unconventional roles and never felt shy about playing an elderly even though he was in his 20s.
Recently, Anupam took to his official social media account, posting an image from 1988’s ‘Vijay’ movie where 33-year-old Kher had portrayed the role of dream girl Hema Malini’s father and father-in-law of blockbuster star Rajesh Khanna. The movie also had Anil Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor as the grandsons of Anupam Kher.
Along with a sepia-toned picture with the entire cast of the Yash Chopra directorial movie, Anupam wrote, “Group pic taken at the shoot of #YashChopraJi’s VIJAY. I was 33years old. The actor had also bagged ‘Filmfare Best Supporting Actor’ award for his outstanding performance in the ‘Vijay’ movie and showed the Indian Cinema that age is just a number.
