Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s NGO ‘Meer Foundation’ has taken a step forward to help the toddler whose video of trying to awaken his dead mother at the Muzaffarpur railway station in Bihar went viral on social media.
The heart wrenching video emerged out of the migrant crisis in India during the coronavirus-led lockdown. Once the video took the Internet by storm, Meer Foundation quickly traced the child and helped him.
On Twitter, the NGO posted a picture of the boy child with his sibling and grandparents. Shah Rukh Khan retweeted it and stated that he understands what it feels like to lose one’s parents, pledging to support the child. Also, the actor thanked people on social media in helping them reach the family of the child.
