Created by Wish & Key Gigs with support from Arunachal Tourism, Euphony Voyage in Itanagar is one of the region’s biggest IPs having hosted music heavyweights like Vishal-Shekhar, Papon, Prateek Kuhad and more in recent years
Chinapa’s duties will include revamping the festival, along with lineup curation and a focus on community building programs
Euphony Voyage 2026 will be held in Itanagar in February
It’s no secret that music entrepreneur, DJ and TV personality Nikhil Chinapa feels most at home at a music festival. From the sandy beaches of Goa to verdant Pune, Chinapa has been at the forefront of the music festival revolution in India since 2007.
His next adventure will take him to North East India to Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, as the festival director of sixth edition of Euphony Voyage, a popular event as it transitions to a two-day festival.
The flagship event for Wish & Key, an events management creative consultancy based in Itanagar, Euphony Voyage made its debut in 2021 with local darling and singer Rito Riba and has since welcomed superstars like Papon, Prateek Kuhad, Javed Ali and Bollywood powerhouse duo Vishal-Shekhar in subsequent editions.
Held with support from Arunachal Tourism, Euphony Voyage – like cultural festivals like Ziro Festival of Music and Orange Festival of Adventure and Music in Dambuk – could become a gateway to the Northeast as a culture tourism hub.
Each edition so far has drawn thousands of attendees, boosting local tourism, expanding opportunities for regional talent, and has spotlighted Arunachal Pradesh as an emerging entertainment destination.
Chinapa saw the potential of the region firsthand when he closed Euphony Voyage 2025 with a DJ set that lasted well into the night.
“I performed in Itanagar for the first time at Euphony Voyage 2025 and was blown away by the audience,” Chinapa says, adding, “They are knowledgeable, eager and so open. I think there is tremendous potential in this region, and Wish & Key have done a great job of building an audience and a community around music in Itanagar,” he adds.
In 2026, Euphony Voyage will expand to become a two-day festival, and why Chinapa’s experience could come in handy. It transforms from a concert into a full-fledged festival, where the stage is just one part of a much larger experience.
“With Nikhil joining as Festival Director, Wish and Key Gigs is stepping into a new era of creativity, experience, and vision for our beloved audiences,” exclaims Geto Pakam, director and founder of the Itanagar-based company.
The multi-day event will open opportunities for homestays, technical vendors, artists, and local vendors, creating a wider ecosystem that truly benefits the community, and attract economic growth to the state. “Beyond entertainment, we’re committed to showcasing the rich and unique diversity of Arunachal’s tribes and traditions, something we’ve discussed deeply and are excited to present with pride,” Pakam adds.
In his role as festival director, Chinapa would like to focus on building the event as a multi-stage IP, streamlining operations, promoting up-and-coming artists and newer genres to an ever-willing audience, and continue to focus on community building efforts.
“Euphony is expanding to a two-day festival with multiple stages and with that comes a whole new set of challenges and logistics, so I will be looking to streamline operations and curate a lineup of artists that are familiar and new, exciting and experienced. Essentially, elevate the fan experience for attendees,” Chinapa says, outlining his plans.
Though lineup and ticket details for Euphony Voyage 2026 are yet to be revealed, it is scheduled to take place over February 13 and 14 in Itanagar.
