With the Palmera Pool Pop-Up, SHIVAN & NARRESH and Shangri-La Eros New Delhi present India’s first fashion and lifestyle-led poolside takeover, setting a new benchmark for immersive luxury experiences where hospitality, fashion and wellness come together in a singular expression of contemporary resort living.
For over a decade, SHIVAN & NARRESH has pioneered luxury swim and resort fashion in India, shaping a distinctive design language defined by bold prints, sensual silhouettes and a spirit of travel. With the Palmera Pool Pop-Up, the brand is extending this philosophy beyond the wardrobe into space, evolving the vision of SHIVAN & NARRESH Homes where the brand’s signature design language translates into experiential environments. Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the installation invites guests to step into this immersive universe, as the brand’s iconic print unfolds through thoughtfully designed objects and spatial elements across the poolside setting.
At the heart of the takeover lies Palmera from the Araki Series 2018, shaped by Japanese photo-art aesthetic inspired by the works of Nobuyoshi Araki, discovered during the designers’ holiday to Japan in autumn 2017. The print amalgamates striking botanical elements with the enigmatic gaze of panthers set against a serene Sakura pink surface, blending graphic boldness with refined serenity.
Sunbeds will be dressed in bespoke covers set against the serene Sakura pink ground, while poolside couches layered with Palmera rugs and cushions create relaxed lounge settings that invite languid afternoons by the water. Chairs echo the botanical rhythm of the print, and tables are layered with statement rugs, crowned with trays and sculptural Branchia candle stands that glint under the sun. Even the lifeguard chair becomes a striking visual marker, wrapped front and back in the bold Palmera motif.
Service becomes an extension of the aesthetic: dedicated SHIVAN & NARRESH aprons redefine staff uniforms, while signature Palmera trays transition seamlessly between display and service. The environment encourages guests to linger longer within a setting designed to evoke the effortless ease of a summer holiday.
