Mahindra is all set with a new tougher, luxurious yet revamped version of its iconic off-roader SUV, the Thar!
This 2020 model of Mahindra Thar offers comfort with luxury, features reclinable rear seats, roof mounted speakers, adjustable steering wheel, power windows and central locking with remote flip key. Also, the coolest part is that it has multiple roof options, Hard Top, Soft Top and Convertible Top.
High on technology, Mahindra Thar has touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, steering mounted audio & phone controls, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic HVAC controls and Mahindra adventure calendar display.
Tougher exterior look, Mahindra Thar has crash safety compliant body shell, drizzle resistant dashboard switches, first-in-class in-built roll cage with three point seat belts, dual airbags & ABS, hill hold & descent control, child mount seats and rear parking sensors.
Coming in six colours from 2 October, Mahindra Thar will be on road in Red Rage, Mystic Copper, Napoli Black, Aquamarine, Galaxy Grey and Rocky Beige. The SUV has two engine options, 2.0-litre mStallion TGDi petrol engine and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with option of six speed torque converter automatic transmission and six speed manual transmission.
