The International Cricket Council has released the ODI rankings of men’s cricket players. Well, some are obvious on the table but few will leave you surprised!
In the ICC ODI Batting Rankings, Virat Kohli consolidated his spot at the top with 869 points, thanks to his recording breaking performances and top knocks. Rohit Sharma, who missed the ODI series against New Zealand due to an injury, is at the second spot with 855 points. Big score is the key!
New Zealand’s Trent Boult claimed the number one bowler spot in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings with 729 points. Shockingly, India’s Jasprit Bumrah slipped to number two with 719 points after a horrible defeat in the ODI series against New Zealand. The pacer went wicketless in a bilateral series for the first time in his career.
Coming to all-rounders, Afghanistan’s Mohammed Nabi stole the limelight in the ICC ODI All-Rounders Rankings. 2019 was his year and he stood on top with 301 points. India’s spinner and middle order batsman Ravindra Jadeja is on the seventh position with 246 points in the all-rounders ranking list. It’s a three step uprise for him in the rankings ladder!
