Directed by Rohit Shetty, the first part of Golmaal series titled Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, was released on 14 July 2006, which turned out to be a big box office hit. From there on, Rohit Shetty released many franchises of the Indian comedy film. The second part titled Golmaal Returns hit the theatres in 2008 while Golmaal 3 in 2010 and the fourth instalment titled Golmaal Again in 2017.
Golmaal: Fun Unlimited showcased the hilarious story of four friends who fell in love with the same girl. The film starred Ajay Devgn as Gopal, Arshad Warsi as Madhav, Tusshar Kapoor as Lucky and Sharman Joshi as Laxman in the male lead roles while Rimi Sen played the role of Nirali as the female lead. The film also featured Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Mukherjee in the pivotal roles. From the perfect acting by Tushhar Kapoor as a dumb Lucky to the rib-tickling situations faced by Gopal, the film turned out to be a blockbuster in the Bollywood industry and received a huge fan following.

According to the reports and Wikipedia, Rohit Shetty is planning to release the fifth instalment of Golmaal Series in 2021.
