Fine Art exponent Shruti Goenka presents a solo show of paintings – Aatmabodh: A journey within! – at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, from January 10-15, 2022. Eminent Artist based out of Gurgaon, Sangeeta K Murthy, has curated the exhibition that is inspired by the Artist’s travels to some of the spiritual destinations in the country.
Adept at using an array of mediums like oil on canvas, acrylic, charcoal, relief art – 3D painting using mud work and sculpturing, as well as traditional south Indian art forms, Shruti Goenka has several exhibitions to her credit at prestigious galleries across the country.
The exhibition is inspired by the artist’s visit to monasteries in Ladakh, ghats of Ganga at Varanasi, temples of south India, Kanheri caves at Mumbai and other enchanting expeditions. These experiences urged the painter in Shruti to create a series of artworks that talks about the creation of this universe, provokes thoughts about the purpose of this life and takes one through the journey of self-discovery. The art works on display include oil on canvas, oil on board canvas and mixed media on board canvas. With a rich repertoire of works that is visually stunning and thought-provoking, artist Shruti is all set to make you explore the inner dimensions.
Part of the sales proceeds from the sale of paintings at the exhibition shall go as charity to National Association for the Blind, New Delhi.

About the artist
Artist Shruti Goenka’s work revolves around various mediums of paintings, namely, oil on canvas, acrylic, charcoal, relief art – 3D painting using mud work and sculpturing, as well as traditional south Indian art forms. Working in the field of art for over two decades, she endeavors to capture in frames, whatever catches her attention, provokes thought in her and soothes her eyes. Using colour, water, brushes, charcoal, mud, sculpturing tools etc, she gives perfect photo finish to her imagination.
Shruti’s works have been exhibited at numerous prestigious galleries across India. She was also commissioned to do over 75 paintings in various of the above-mentioned art forms for clients on pan-India basis.
Shruti was honoured with the “Best Artist Award” organized by Jumbish World Art Competition, Pune, Maharashtra.
During the corona virus pandemic in May 2020, Shruti participated in the online auction for charity of artworks organized by Smile Foundation for helping migrating labors. Her painting got sold giving her opportunity to contribute her bit for the noble cause.
