After a long wait during the weekend, the Episode 9 special look is launched. The two minutes plus video is totally dedicated to the old eight episodes of ‘Star Wars’. Reminiscing memories, feeling nostalgic!
So many unanswered questions, so much confusion and newness that one cannot handle. Every glance or scene just creates a new level of curiosity, what’s next?
The special look looks amazing, but the confusion starts with Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewbacca and C-3PO standing on the edge of a valley looking down at the Pasaana, a desert planet. One of the glance shows a terrified Jannah with Finn and quickly continues with a battle on the home of Death Star, leaving us confused. Which planet will be the one for this episode?
Just one look of the big space battle between the First Order and the Resistance and we are left hanging again. Will we ever get to see what it looks like to see the largest collection of Star Destroyers? Wonder what’s cooking?
This video doesn’t solve any mystery but leads to more. Looking at the clip gives an idea that Rey is definitely somebody different, that’s for sure. All indications show that she has no royal family but has a brave heart and a lot of light saber practice. Or is she similar to the ‘Last Jedi’ episode slave boy? But the title suggests ‘The Rise of Skywalker’, maybe she has Skywalker blood. Could be right?
Only to kill the audience with more curiosity, a scene of angry Rey is shown where she is busy throwing blue saber through a tree which boomerangs back into her hand, look closely and it’s a Marksman-H training remote. Later on, featuring is the drama queen, Kylo Ren who is walking away from his Tie Silencer. But exactly at the same spot Rey and Ren are at the top of the Death Star, saber against a saber. Who wins?
One thing’s for sure, Disney has not come so far without the scariest plot twist in the final trilogy of the biggest movie series of all time. If you think you figured it all with this plotline, you are wrong boy! What’s that famous Admiral Ackbar line? ‘It’s a trap! All this is a trap we are falling into.’
For the rest, we’ll have to bite our nails and wait until 20 December.
