New Delhi, 2025 – Drawing inspiration from the Mughal and French eras, this restaurant space reimagines heritage through a contemporary lens. At its heart stands a towering 30-foot brick-clad wall, supported by exposed metal columns and tie bars evoking the feeling of a long-lost structure, carefully restored to life. Around it, the terrace opens inward to a courtyard framed by a monumental truss, blurring the line between old and new, built and found.
The material palette is intentionally raw brick, metal, wood, and concrete tempered with carefully curated lighting and a soft layering of greens. A floating glass box becomes a dance floor by night, while the rustic bar, clad in charred wood and vintage metal joinery, anchors the space in warmth and craft.
Details throughout like a reception wall echoing the broken facade of the Lucknow Residency or the wood-fired oven on the upper deck invite guests to not just dine, but to experience a story. In Levana, 42MM Architecture doesn’t simply design a restaurant. They carve out a place where memory and material meet where every brick speaks, and every surface remembers.
