And after all the wait, this stunning beauty said it out that she will begin shooting for the Meghna Gulzar’s film from March 25, 2019, and that she will leave for Delhi on the day of Holi.
The Piku actress said that Holi is one of her preferred festivals and she recalls the time when she was a kid and played colors with friends.

‘Holi has been one of my favorite festivals since childhood. Playing Holi with my friends from my building after coming back from school is one of my favorite childhood memories. Preparations for the festival would start at least a week before,’ Deepika once said.
At the latest awards ceremony, when Deepika Padukone was questioned about her Holi plans, the actor said, ‘It’s so ironic that on the day of Holi, I leave for Chhapaak, we start shooting on Monday. It is a very important film, the story needs to be told, we start filming on Monday and on Holi is when I leave for Delhi so no celebration, just a lot of preparation.’Last night, Deepika Padukone made a spectacular appearance on the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards wearing a red gown.
On the work front, after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, this beautiful actor will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s film Chhapaak and the film is based on a true story of the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Besides Deepika, the film also stars Vikrant Massey and Deepika will turn producer with Chhapaak.
