Australian Open has already begun but top Tennis stars are still landing in Melbourne. Amongst all this, British top player Andy Murray has tested positive for coronavirus and will not be part of the first Grand Slam of 2021.
Prior to boarding charter flights for Australia, Andy Murry was diagnosed with COVID-19 and has been advised to stay back, he’s currently quarantining in his UK home. Andy Murray was in full form to return to the court but now he’ll be unable to fly down and quarantine with the other players.
Opting out of Australian Open, on the official Twitter page of the Grand Slam, this news was announced. They also stated that the fans will miss seeing Andy Murray in action and sent him well wishes, praying for his speedy recovery against coronavirus.
