Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar have come together and recreated ‘Kesari’ movie’s song ‘Teri Mitti’. The recreation is a tribute to the COVID-19 warriors and health professionals who are working tirelessly day and night to fight coronavirus.
An ode to the heroes in white, ‘Teri Mitti’ is voiced by B Praak. The lyrics of the song are different but the tune is unchanged. One cannot help but feel patriotic and proud of the medical workers as well as policemen who are doing their job without any complaints. Hats off!
The soul stirring and special version of ‘Teri Mitti’ is a way to show gratitude to the heroes who are fighting every day to keep us alive and healthy by putting their lives at risk. The music video shows glimpses of doctors treating patients, violence and attacks against doctors, policemen requesting people to be indoors, sanitization of roads, smiling faces of elderly-kids and famous locations around the world as a symbol of unity at such hard times.
