‘The Prom’ is a chance to celebrate small life events, an adaptation of a short-lived Broadway musical. This movie follows how four New York based actors see their careers flatline after having a flop Broadway show. Coming down to Indiana, they decide on a female high school student with a magical prom night she deserves after being heartbroken to learn that she isn’t allowed to attend prom with her girlfriend.
An ensemble of cast that brings a lot of energy, you will also see Andrew Rannells, Jo Ellen Pellman, Ariana DeBose, Kerry Washington, Keegan-Michael Key, Tracey Ullman, Kevin Chamberlin, Mary Kay Place, Logan Riley, Nico Greetham, Sofia Deler and Nathaniel J. Potvin in the Netflix musical.
