Olympics gold winning shooters, India’s Abhinav Bindra and Italy’s Niccolo Campriani release the theme song, ‘Make A Mark’ for their inspiring ‘Taking Refuge’ project. Grammy winning musician Ricky Kej is the composer of this song, amazing!
‘Taking Refuge’ is an initiative where Bindra and Campriani are helping three youth refugee shooters, Khaoula, Luna and Mahdi, who have no prior experience in the sport. The duo are trying their best to make the youth shooters be a part of the 10m rifle event in the Tokyo Olympics, under the Refugees Olympics Team that was started in 2016 Rio Olympics.
The theme song, ‘Make A Mark’ gives you glimpses of the refugee lives and how their dreams are turning out to be true. One will also see cameos by Bindra and Campriani. The song was launched on social media with a heartwarming caption on Twitter.
Sharing the theme song via a tweet, Abhinav Bindra also praised Ricky Kej for capturing the essence of the project and is looking forward to celebrating the power of sports. Have a look at ‘Make A Mark’:
