Every second Thursday of October is celebrated as World Sight Day to raise the awareness about blindness and vision impairment globally.

Your eyes are the window to your soul and let’s talk about your eye-health today to keep your doorway of soul lively and glittering. Due to a change in our lifestyle and advent of laptop, mobile phones and more, the well-being of eyes are compromised, hence we will tell you some of the easy yoga poses that improve your vision.

Take a look:

1. Palming:

Reduce eye strain with palming. Sit in lotus position and rub both your palms together till they become warm. Now cover your eyes with your palms and relax. Welcome the healing warmth and energy from your palms and repeat it thrice. You will instantly feel relaxed and your eyes will smile. The best thing is you can do palming even at your workplace.

2. Chakrasana:

Chakrasana or wheel pose, try it to improve your eye’s health which also enhances the functioning of your nervous system. Chakrasana is a bit difficult to ace but with practice you can perfect it. It improves the blood circulation to your facial muscles and brain, helping in strengthening the nerves of your eyes.

3. Sarvangasana:

Sarvangasana or shoulder stand  calms nerves and reduces insomnia. It reduces fatigue and improves the blood circulation in the body. It also relaxes the facial muscles which leads to reducing the eye strain.
