The UEFA Executive Committee has revealed the venues of several finals, a new competition and few amendments to an existing international tournament. The governing body met in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

 

Take a look at the decisions taken at the meeting:

 

1. UEFA Nations League

A new structure is coming up for the 2020-2021 edition, comprising of 16 teams in Leagues A,B and C and seven teams in League D. The allocation will be based on the overall ranking from the 2018-19 inaugural of UEFA Nations League. Also, the 2020-2021 edition draw will take place on 3 March 2020, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

 

2. Hosts of UEFA Competitions

They have announced the Champions League final venues. In 2021, at Saint Petersburg and Munich in 2022, while the 2023 final will take place in London (Wembley).

 

Also, the 2021 Europa League final will be hosted at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville, Spain.

 

3. UEFA Europa Conference League

Approving the third UEFA club competition, it will start in 2021 from 18:45 CET and 21:00 CET on Thursdays and the Champions League matches will come on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The next meeting of the governing body will happen on 4 December 201, in the House of European Football, Nyon, Switzerland.
