For a charity exhibition match, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer went head to head in Cape Town, South Africa. Playing for the cause of providing education and athletic training to children in Africa, Federer beat Nadal, 6-4 3-6 6-3.

Raining three million dollars, Nadal-Federer played a doubles match as well where they paired with Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and comedian Trevor Noah respectively. An audience of 51,954 witnessed this entertaining game, ‘Match in Africa’. They set a new world record with the highest crowd at a tennis match in Cape Town stadium.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar came out to bat after five and a half years of retirement to raise money for the Australian bushfires.

In the charity match, he faced the bowling attack of the Australian woman fast bowler Ellyse Perry. The master blaster hit a boundary on the first bowl of the special over, played at Junction Oval, Melbourne. The crowd raised to applaud and scream, ‘Sachin Sachin’, an emotional moment for sure. Despite having an injured shoulder, Sachin played and got us all super teary!
